KATHMANDU, Feb 24: The departmental team Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) and Western Regional Development Region have set the summit clash scheduled for Saturday in the ongoing third CoAS National Men’s Volleyball Tournament. TAC beat the other departmental team Nepal Police Club (NPC) on straight sets of 3-0, while Western defeated the other departmental team Armed Police Force (APF) 3-2 in the semifinal matches played on Friday. In the semifinal matches played at the Army Physical Training and Sports Center in Lagankhel, TAC saw off NPC 25-20, 25-21, 25-19, while Western overcame APF 20-25, 28-26, 25-23, 26-24, 18-16. A total of eight teams-three departmental and five regional teams- participated in the tournament.
