General public have not been able to get the certificates after they bought the land from the Amar Jyoti Higher Secondary School in 2033 BS.[break]
The school had sold to public more than 13 ropanis of land 35 years ago for developing a settlement around the school. The victims have said they now suffer the negligence of the school.
School Management Committee outgoing Chairman Arjun Shrestha said problem had arisen after the land given by the Village Panchayat to the school in 2033 BS was registered as pubic lawn in 2054 BS.
The Panchayat had handed over 20 ropanis and 14 annas of land north east of the Shivalaya temple to the school. The land was afterwards sold to the locals.
