KATHMANDU, Jan 10: A senior Tarai Madhes Democratic Party member in the parliament has warned of disrupting next meeting of the House if the government fails to give clear definition of a constitutional term "major political parties". "Until the terminology is clearly defined as to which are major political parties in the Constituent Assembly, the formation of Army Integration Special Committee will draw serious legitimacy question," said Hridayesh Tripathi.

Taking special time at the CA meeting held in the capacity of parliament, Tripathi said smooth running of the next parliament meeting would be impossible until a satisfactory definition of the term "major parties" is given in the House. TMDP is fifth largest party in the CA with 22 members. The government has decided to form a special committee for integration of Maoist combatants in national security agencies comprising representatives only from four largest parties -- Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist), Nepali Congress, Communist Party of Nepal -Unified Marxist-Leninist and Madhesi People´s Rights Forum.
