TMDP names candidates for three seats

KTHMANDU, March 12: Tarai Madhes Democratic Party has decided to field its candidates in three Constituencies of Tarai for the upcoming by-elections for Constituent Assembly. The fifth largest party in the CA decided not to contest polls for two seats in hill constituencies and forge electoral alliance with other parties in one constituency. Former Nepali Congress leader Umesh Giri will contest from Morang-5, Hari Narayan Sah from Morang-7 and Srikrishna Yadav from Dhanusha-5. There will be no candidate of the party in Rolpa-2 and Kaski-1 while the party will forge alliance with others in Kanchanpur-4, party’s Spokesperson Sarvendra Nath Shukla said.
