When you purchase a bike, you receive a booklet that gives a range of instructions, including changing engine oil. If you frequently change the engine oil according to the instructions, your bike’s performance will improve. Doing so also increases your bike’s mileage.
Likewise, we often forget to get our bike serviced on time, which in turn impures the engine oil and decreases the bike’s mileage.
Engine oil lubricates the engine and helps to maintain the temperature. Likewise, oil reduces friction produced in the engine, and makes exhaustion smooth by removing carbon and other engine wastes amplifying the mileage.
Using sluggish engine oil makes the lubricant thinner in high temperatures and simultaneously decreases its ability to reduce the engine’s temperature. Oil keeps on decreasing with exhaustion and it must be refilled from time to time.
In Kathmandu’s context, it is better to refill engine oil every 2 months or after riding 1,000 kilometers. This will help protect your engine and bike from different problems and increase the bike’s overall performance
