KATHMANDU, Feb 8: The meeting between the leaders of UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and CPN-UML is scheduled take place at Gokarna Forest Resort Wednesday morning.
According to NC leader Ram Sharan Mahat, the meeting will dwell on the peace process, constitution drafting and other concurrent political issues including the ongoing House obstruction over the government´s decision to legalize the conflict era land transactions. [break]
CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal said the parties will also discuss formation of a consensus government.
The meeting comes at a time when NC and UML have issued a seven-day ultimatum to the government and the Maoists to make tangible progress in the peace process and to end obstruction in constitution writing.
