“The bus turned turtle when I suddenly put on the brakes to save the woman and the cyclists who were crossing the road. I lost my kid brother after the bus overturned,” driver Himal Tamang said.
Muna Rai, 30, of Dharan-17 has been taken to Siliguri, India for further treatment after BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan, referred him there.
Sub Inspector Binod Shrestha said Dambar Rai, 21, of Itahari-8, and Pramila BK, 25, Ajaya BK, 13, and Kuber Man BK, 30, of Beltar, Udayapur are in a critical condition and are being treated in Dharan while those with minor injuries have been sent home.
