DANG, Dec 22: A bus met with an accident in the district on Thursday killing three passengers and injuring 22 others.
The bus, Lu 1 Kha, 776, heading for Butwal from Ghorahi veered off the road and fell some 50 meters down the hill at Masot River along the Ghorah-Lamahi road section causing the fatalities, police said.

The deceased are Chitra Bahadur Shrestha,60, of Rukum and currently living in Saudiyar-6, Behori BK, 39, of Rubadwari-6 in Pyuthan and Krishna Bahadur Shah of Lamahi, according to DSP Prakash Raj Sharma at District Police Office, Dang. All of them died while receiving treatment, he added.
The injured have been taken to Butwal and Kohalpur for treatment.
