KATHMANDU, Feb 10: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has awarded the Good Governance Award to three journalists, Tapendra Karki ( Nagarik Daily), Nawa Raj Mainali (Naya Patrika Daily) and Ramesh Dhamala (Kantipur Television) on the occasion of its 34th establishment day.
Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire presented the awards at the program held at the Auditorium Hall of the Nepal Police Headquarters, Naxal. President Ram Chandra Paudel was the chief guest at the event.
The CIAA has been giving awards for those making significant contributions to controlling corruption and promoting good governance through journalism.
