Surya Nepal golf kicks off today

KATHMANDU, March 10: Surya Nepal NPGA Match Play, the sixth event of the Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2014-15 Season, will be played at the Royal Nepal Golf Club from 10-12 March. Top 16 professionals who are in the order of merit of season 2013-14 are qualified for this event. All match play events will be over 18 holes except the final, which will be played over 36 holes.
Nepal number 1 Shivaram Shrestha will face sixteenth ranked Pashupati Sharma in the first round match on Tuesday.
Winner of the tournament will receive a check of Rs 50,000.
