Sub-Committee discusses CA panel's report

KATHMANDU, June 10: The Dispute Resolution Sub-Committee led by Unified CPN (Maoist) Chairman Dahal on Friday discussed the report prepared by the State Restructuring Committee under the Constituent Assembly (CA).



Friday´s meeting agreed to discuss the disputed issues related to constitution drafting in political leadership level and present outcomes in the next meeting of the Sub-Committee, Nepali Congress Vice-President and Sub-Committee member Ram Chandra Poudel told reporters after the meeting.[break]



“The issue of state restructuring is a serious one. It needs to be discussed in political leadership level. Once tentative agreement is forged then it can be discussed in the Sub-Committee.”



The meeting also discussed the internal calendar of the Constitutional Committee, which is forwarded to the Sub-Committee for consultation by CC Secretariat, said another Sub-Committee member and Maoist leader Dev Gurung. “One the issues of state restructuring are discussed in political leadership level the Sub-Committee will again discuss them.”



The next meeting of the Sub-Committee will be held on June 13.
