KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Agitating student unions have agreed to temporarily halt their protests against the Tribhuvan University´s decision to scrap PCL level after the local administration agreed to release the arrested student leaders.

The unions agreed to let the examination run smoothly after the agreement was reached through a dialogue held between the representatives of TU, the unions and the local administration.

The protest had forced TU to put off examination of master´s level on Monday at several examination centers.
