Earlier, Khagendra Bhujel opened the scoring to put Baraha ahead in the 16th minute but Ramesh Pradhan leveled the scoring in the 34th minute.
Reebok, Black Stars win
KATHMANDU, April 18: Reebok and Black Stars won their respective matches in the Marwadi Premier League T20 Spice Parshuram Trophy Cricket Tournament on Sunday.
Reebok, who had lost the opening match on Saturday, defeated Naxal Challengers by three wickets at Lab School. Naxal put up 118 runs losing five wickets while Reebok met the target losing their seven wickets with three balls to spare.
Likewise, Black Stars stunned Bikaner Blasters by six wickets at the Modern Indian School ground. Black Stars successfully chased the target of 122 runs in 19.2 overs losing four wickets.
Khadka, Purimitla in badminton semis
KATHMANDU, April 18: The duo of Bikram Khadka and John Babu Purimitla registered second consecutive victory on Sunday in the Fun Badminton Tournament being held at Jawalakhel, Lalitpur and advanced into the semifinals.
The pair of Khadka and Purimitla defeated Kiroj Basnet and Shyam Basnet on Sunday.
Likewise, the pair of Ranjit Ghatani and Thulo Bhai KC and the pair of Brandon Subba and Kapil Shahi won their respective matches.
Machhapuchhre start with win
KATHMANDU, April 18: Defending champions Machhapuchhre Bank started on a winning note in the 6th Inter-bank Men´s Volleyball Tournament that kicked off on Sunday at the Rastra Bank court, Thapathali.
In the opener, Machhapuchhre defeated NCC Bank in straight sets, 25-6, 25-15. In another match, Siddhartha Bank edged past Global Bank 25-12, 25-16.
The tournament organized by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on its 55th anniversary will feature 14 teams, including two host teams. Top three teams and best player of the tournament will bag a purse of Rs 50,000, Rs 35,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively.
Earlier, NRB Deputy Governer Bir Bikram Rayamajhi inaugurated the tournament.
Kantipur victorious
KATHMANDU, April 18: Kantipur eased past Gaurishankar 30-9 in girls´ section in the First Open Basketball Tournament that began on Sunday at Whitehouse College. Rohini Limbu contributed 10 points for the winning side.
In boys´ section, Kite, Rose Bud and Unique emerged victorious.
With 22 points from Asim Shrestha, Kite recorded a comfortable 42-13 win over Nirmal. Riding on 26 points of Saurav, Rose Bud had a nail biting 56-55 win over Himalayan. Likewise, Unique ousted Grammar 53-37. Kebal Sunuwar netted 16 points for the winners.

BUTWAL, April 18: Advance Secondary Boarding School, Mahottari entered the quarterfinals of the Inter School U-16 T20 National Cricket Tournament on Sunday.
Advance School defeated Janajyoti Boarding School, Dang by five wickets at the Siddhartha Stadium, Bhairahawa. Advance successfully chased the target of 105 runs losing five wickets with seven balls to spare.
