SOS into inter-school football quarters

KATHMANDU, Nov 3: St Xavier´s, Gems and SOS School entered into the quarterfinals of Third TVS Tyres Cup Invitational Inter School Football Tournament on Tuesday. [break]



In the match played at the Madhyapur Youth Association´s ground, SOS, Sanothimi defeated Siddhartha Banasthali 3-2 in the tie-breaker. Both the teams were unable to score in the regulation time.







Likewise, Gems thrashed Nexus International Academy 5-0. Bishesh Joshi scored in the very first minute of the match, while Bijaya Busan added second in the 15th minute. Atul Gautam completed a hat-trick by scoring in the 25th, 47th and 62nd minutes.



Meanwhile, St Xavier´s outplayed Marigold English School 4-0 to enter into the quarterfinals. Bibek Pradhan completed his hat-trick scoring in the first, 29th and 37th minutes. Tejashwi KC added one more for St Xavier´s.
