SC to open during Dashain

KATHMANDU, Oct 5: The Supreme Court (SC) has assigned a dozen justices to take up habeas corpus cases during the Dashain holidays.



A full court meeting on Tuesday decided to open the court during the festival. However, the SC will be closed on Ghataspathana and Vijaya Dashami days.



Chief Justice Ram Prasad Shrestha and justices Prem Sharma, Mohan Prakash Sitaula, Rana Bahadur Bam, Top Bahadur Magar, Tahir Ali Ansari, Prakash Wasti, Balram KC, Kalyan Shrestha and Bharat Raj Uprety will see cases during Dashain.
