KATHMANDU, Aug 2: The Supreme Court on Monday issued a show cause notice over a habeas corpus writ concerning Anandi Devi Singh, chairperson of Nepal Sadbhawana Party.
Sarita Giri of the party had filed the habeas corpus writ claiming that Singh was being held hostage by Yashwanta Singh.
The single bench of Justice Gauri Dhakal has asked the defendant to be present in court in person within three days with written clarifications mentioning the whereabouts of Mrs Singh.
