During the meeting, Secretary General of SAARC Ahmed Saleem provided a briefing on the current status of implementation of important decisions taken during the 17th SAARC Summit and 34th Session of Council of Ministers held in the Maldives. [break]
The Meeting also discussed the possible date of 35th Meeting of the SAARC Council of Ministers and 18th SAARC Summit proposed to be held in the Maldives and Nepal, respectively.
The agenda of appointment of the Secretary General of SAARC was also discussed during the meeting.
