No alternative than extending CA terms: Vice President
Meanwhile, issuing a press release vice-president Parmananda Jha appealed all the political parties and leaders for their positive thought and role for the extension of the CA.

Fringe parties demand extension
Similarly, RSS reported that fifteen fringe parties represented in the CA submitted a memorandum to Parliamentary Party Leader of the Nepali Congress Ram Chandra Poudel demanding extension of the constitution-making body.
They handed over the memorandum, appealing to the NC not to make the supreme, sovereign and people’s representative body defunct.
CP Mailani of CPN (ML), Alauddin Ansari of Rastriya Prajantra Party, Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani of Rastriya Janashakti Party, Kalpana Rana of CPN (United), Devendra Mishra of Nepal Sadhbhawana Party (Anandidevi), Biswendra Paswan of Dalit Janajati Party, Yeknath Dhakal of Nepal Family Party, Hikmat Bahadur Deuba of Samajbadi Janatantrik Party and Keshav Mainali of Chure Bhawar Rastriya Ekata Party have signed in the memorandum.
