The deceased has been identified as Junga Bahadur Gurung,55 of the same locality.[break]
Gurung was attacked by the Rhino as he reportedly tried to scare away the animal that was feeding on his crop near his home on Monday night.
He was serious injured in the attack and died during treatment at the local sub-health post this morning, the District Police Office, Chitwan has said.
Earlier on Saturday, two persons were killed and two others were injured in an attack by a wild elephant at Ayodhyapuri-9.
People living near the Chitwan National Park are being increasingly attacked by wild animals every year.
