KATHMANDU, April 12: Leaders across various religions have urged for co-existence among religions for peace.
Addressing a function organized by Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Lights (HWPL) in Kathmandu on Saturday, religious leaders of Hinduism, Catholicism, Islam, Buddhism and Bahaism also highlighted high religious scriptures of each of these religions advocate for world peace.
Preserving religious and communal harmony
The HWLP office in Nepal, which was established recently in Kathmandu,had organized the function with the theme--The peace Spoken in each Religious Scriptures. The organization aims at bringing cessation of war and establishes harmony among different religions in the world for global peace.
According to Chairman of HWLP Man Hee Lee, the HWPL World Alliance of Religions' Peace Offices are actively operating as centers for
religious leaders, who desire to participate. Thirty-five offices are currently located in 19 countries around the world including in the US, Germany, Australia, Philippines and Mexico.
