BIRATNAGAR, Feb 2: Biratnagar-based industrialist Ganga Bhisan Rathi and Shiva Sena Nepal Chairman Chandra Chudal have been found dead in the bank of Testa river, West Bengal, a high-level police source confirmed, Saturday.
A joint team of Nepal Police and Indian Police had intensified search of the duo after Industrialist Rathi was abducted on January 11 from Silguri, India while he was on a business trip. [break]Sources said that Chudal had accompanied Rathi in his trip.
Rathi family members had even paid Rs 5 million as ransom in return to Rathi´s safe release. The abductors had used Rathi´s mobile to demand ransom.

Meanwhile, two Indian nationals—Surendra Kumar Mishra and Abhijit Basu-- who were arrested in connection to abduction, accused Chudal of masterminding the kidnapping. They were arrested from Bolpur of West Bengal. However, the accusation has not been independently verified, as yet.
Police were able to trace the bodies today acting on their statements.
