Expressing their views on the Amended Bills of the Constitution of Nepal, 2072 On Friday's Constituent Assembly meeting, they said that the constitution should be issued soon for the stability and prosperity of Nepal.
Speaking in the meeting, Nepali Congress lawmaker Chandra Kanta Bhandari urged the major parties' leaders not to halt the constitution-writing process.
Lawmaker, Ram Krishna Yadav said that constitution should be promulgated soon for Nepal's prosperity and stability.
Backing the amendment proposals floated recently by major parties, Tarini Datta Chataut urged the parties to try their final effort to bring the agitating parties onboard the constitution-making process.
Similarly, CPN-UML lawmaker Bhim Prasad Acharya said that the constitution will be promulgated soon as per aspirations of the people despite national and international forces' bid to raise their heads to prevent the constitution from being promulgated and halting development in the country under various pretexts.
Urging for supporting the amendment proposals presented by major political parties, another participant Bishal Bhattarai asked the disgruntled groups to join talks.
UCPN- Maoist lawmaker Lalit Kumari Regmi and Janakidevi Saud said that although some issues in the amendment proposals proposed by the major political parties were good, the valid demands raised by all the community were not still addressed.
The clause-wise deliberation on the revised construction bill, 2072 has been taking place since the Chairperson of the Constitution Draft Committee , Krishna Prasad Sitaula proposed the deliberation on the same on August 7.
Each of the lawmakers was allotted five minute to speak on the amended bill during the clause-wise deliberation.
