During his “regular” meeting with Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai at Shital Niwas, on Wednesday morning, the president told the prime minister that a consensus government should be in place at the time of promulgating the new constitution, said Ram Rijan Yadav, the prime minister´s press advisor. "The prime minister told the president that he is in favor of a consensus government," said the prime minister´s press advisor.
The prime minister also apprised the president of the recent meetings between the major political parties on constitution drafting.
