KATHMANDU, Oct 11: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has received Tika and Jamara at Sheetam Niwas from the main priest of the Hanuman Dokha Dashain, Ghar Devraj Aryal, during the auspicious hour at 8:45 am on the occasion of the Bijaya Dashami festival.
Aryal also presented President Bhandari offering of the goddess Navadurga nine manifestations of goddess Durga Bhawani).
Present on the occasions were the family priest of President Bhandari, Khemchandra Dhakal, as well as her family member and relatives.
On the occasion, President Bhandari also received tika and blessings from her uncles- Khagendra Pandey and Jayanta Pandey and Aunt Sabitri Pandey.
She also bestowed tika and blessings to her daughter Usha Kiran.
The Head of the State is to offer the tika to senior dignitaries from 13: pm to 14:00 pm while the members of the public could receive the same from President Bhandari from 14: am to 17: 00 pm. RSS
