Poll date cannot be deferred: Khanal

LAHAN, July 30: Unified CPN (Maoist) central committee member Chandra Prakash Khanal has said that the date of the forthcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) election scheduled on November 19 could not be postponed.



Khanal said this while speaking in a news conference organised by the Revolutionary Journalists´ Association this morning at Lahan. "The people are disenchanted with the political parties, but there is no alternative to election for writing a pro-people constitution, " he asserted.
