PM will head special committee: Defense Minister

KATHMANDU, July 3: Defense Minister Bidya Bhandari on Friday said the prime minister will head the special committee on army integration. Addressing a news conference, Bhandari said it is a precedent set by the Maoist-led government that the prime minister heads the committee. She dismissed Maoist demand for its 50 percent members in the committee.
