Pramod Koirala, spokesperson at DFTQC, said that the office is also planning to provide stickers to the hotels and restaurants. "We have prepared four types of stickers for hotels and restaurants," said Koirala, adding, "It will be given as per their quality."
He said that the green sticker would be given to hotels and restaurants that have good hygiene practices. The yellow sticker indicates moderate quality. Another yellow color would mean that something is problematic. The office said that the red sticker would indicate great risk and that such hotels should not operate.
"As green sticker indicates good quality, which would boost their business, the owners of hostels and restaurants will try to get such stickers," said Koirala.
