Terming the constituency number 1 of Morang the most backward constituency of the country, UCPN (Maoist) candidate Barsha Man Pun has floated the agenda of distributing land ownership certificates and providing jobs for the unemployed. Similarly, Nepali Congress candidate for constituency number 8 of the district, Ramesh Jung Rayamajhi has also assured the voters belonging to the squatters´ community that their party would take initiatives to construct homes for them. "The problems of the squatters would be automatically resolved after the constitution is drafted."
Rayamajhi further claimed that their party would pay special attention over the concerns of the squatters and the unemployed.
UCPN (Maoist) candidate for constituency number 6, Babu Raja Ojha said that though their party stands in favor of identity-based federalism, he would personally take a lead to manage the employment opportunity and lands for the squatters.
Likewise, Guru Baral, who is contesting from constituency number 3 representing UML, has floated that the agenda of forming a separate fund for the students belonging to poor families. "I will establish a separate fund for the poor students who want to pursue technical education," added Baral.
He further said that their plan is to provide employment for the unemployed youths. "I will launch self-employment schemes."
