Paragliding, Waderio win in Dandi-Biyo

KATHMANDU, June 8: Nepal Paragliding and Hanggliding Association and Nepal Waderio Karate Do Ranmai Association won their respective matches in the First Panther National Inter-Association Dandi-Biyo Tournament being held on the National Sports Council premises on Monday. [break]



Nepal Paragliding Association eased past Nepal Wrestling Association 182-128. Suresh Panthi scored the highest 61 points for the winning side.



In the other match, Waderio recorded a comfortable 172-99 win over Nepal Handball Association. Jeevan Tamang scored 48 points for Waderio.



Five of the teams got walkover. Nepal Karate Federation got walkover from All Nepal Table Tennis Association, Nepal Kwanmukan Karate Association got walkover from Nepal Taekwondo Association and Nepal Jeetkundo Martial Arts Association from All Nepal Lawn Tennis Association.



Likewise, Nepal Judo Association and Shooting Association also enjoyed walkover from Nepal Chess Association and Nepal Ski Association, respectively. Eight matches will be held on Tuesday.
