Over 300 households illuminated from solar plants

KANCHANPUR, Jan 2: As the poles of electricity taken in the village were not fixed for almost three years on, the folks of Pilariphanta in Kanchanpur district have installed solar panels in their houses.

Of the 500 households, 300 households in the village have been illuminated from the solar plants in the recent days, Tilak Japrel, a local resident said.


"Most of the families have kept the solar plants by getting Rs 3,000 grant assistance," he shared.

The villages have expressed happiness after the installation of the solar plants and said that their kids would have sufficient lights for their studies as well as good health.

Likewise, other households are also planning to install the solar plants soon by managing the funds needed for the same. RSS
