The proposed mass meeting in Kathmandu will conclude the first series of the opposition parties´ nationwide programs organized with the objective of exerting pressure on the current government to step down for a national consensus government.
CPN-UML is looking after the management of the program and accordingly February 5, 6 and 7 have been allocated for carrying out extensive publicity of the program, said UML Valley Coordination Committee in-charge Krishna Gopal Shrestha.
Sharing information about the protest programme through the use of loud speakers, pamphlets, door-to-door visit and motorcycle rally are part of the publicity campaign.
According to Shrestha, UML General Secretary Iswar Pokharel will lead the pamphlets distribution program in Bhotahiti on February 6 while a motorcycle rally will begin from the open theatre on February 7.
