Concerned over the approaching Constitutional Assembly (CA) election, the Parbat District Administration Office (DAO) had pre-informed all the government officers to return to work immediately after the festival, informed Chief District Officer, Umesh Kumar Dhakal. [break]
“The names of the absentees are already noted down and submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs for necessary legal action,” said a DAO staff, Raghu Nath Sharma. The absence of officials was revealed after the DAO deployed officers to monitor the work at various government offices in the district.
The absent employees are Chief of Parbat District Irrigation Office, Pramod Kumar Jha, Chief of District Veterinary Office, Dr. Dirganath Dhungana, Chief of District Drinking Water Office, Purna Prashad Upadhaya, Chief of District Skill Development and Training Center, Surendra Pokharel, Chief of District Land Reformation Office, Bishnu Thapa, and Chief of distribution branch of Parbat Nepal Electricity Authority Office, Hardev Prasad Gupta.
Chief of Nepal Telecom Communication, Parbat branch, Ram Krishna Malla, Chief of District Forest Office Samantamaya Shresth, Chief of Land Survey Office, Purna Hari Subedi and Chief of District Postal Office, Amar Nath Dhakal are also missing.
Besides the chiefs, numerous other officers have still not returned to work, informed Dhakal.
