Offers boost realty sales

KATHMANDU, March 18: At a time when realty business is passing through a rough road, some developers have managed to pull buyers by launching attractive schemes.



Civil Trade Tower developed by Civil Group of Companies has announced booking for 151 shops under ´Sun ma Sugandha Super Bumper Offer´. [break]The retail business complex located in Sundhara has been able to sell 125 units since it announced the offer on February 8.



According to the company, it will provide rental service to the buyers for five years and that the value of the units will increase up to 202 percent during the period. It is also giving gold coins to all the buyers. One lucky buyer under the scheme will win a Land Rover car.



Similarly, Downtown Apartments has also announced rental guarantee offer under which customers will be getting rental guarantee of Rs 40,000 per month for the period of 3 to 5 years.







“We will also be providing free guest apartment for those outside the valley to reside when they visit the capital,” said Min Man Shrestha, chairman of Downtown housing and general secretary of Nepal Land and Housing Developers Association.



The company managed to sell 22 apartments after it launched the offer.



“Innovative marketing strategies introduced have helped developers boost sales,” Shrestha said.
