Pun is the in-charge of the Maoist party´s Integration Bureau and also a member of the Special Committee formed to supervise, integrate and rehabilitate the Maoist combatants. His views have come at a time when the Special Committee is making final preparations to start the process of integration and rehabilitation and finish it by January 14, 2011.

Pun is also member of the three-member sub-committee, under the Special Committee, formed to chalk out the plan of action, modality of integration and rehabilitation packages.
