NJA distributes relief of Rs 2 million

KATHMANDU, Oct 19: Nepal Judo Association (NJA) on Monday distributed Rs 2 million to 40 sports persons affected by the devastating earthquake of April 25 and its aftershocks.

According to NJA, each of the 40 players, coaches and officials affected by the magnitude 7.8 earthquake received Rs 50,000 provided by International Judo Federation and All Japan Judo Association.

Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) President Jeevan Ram Shrestha handed over the amount to the victims.
