The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading of category ´A´ companies listed in the secondary market, also went down by 2.85 points to close at 89.85 points.
All trading groups, except the Insurance, lost values during Sunday´s trading. Banking and Hydropower-- the major trading groups -- saw their sub-indices tumble by whopping 13.95 points and 34.32 points to end the day´s trading at 337.13 points and 608.36 points respectively. Similarly, the sub-indices of Hotels and Development Bank also went down by 4.52 points and 3.01 points to close the day at 408.07 points and 296.4 points respectively.
Similarly, the sub-indices of Finance and Others groups dropped 0.01 points and 14.1 points to close at 415.81 points and 487.61 points respectively.
A total of 107,033 units of shares worth Rs 28.27 million were traded through 846 transactions on the day. Total market capitalization was recorded at Rs 325.78 billion.
