Nepali migrant worker killed in India bus mishap identified

KANCHANPUR, Oct 19: A Nepali national killed in the bus accident at Nankamatta in India on Thursday has been identified. She is 18-year-old Binita Dangi of Bhaluwang- 18, Dang.



As many as 51 Nepalis boarded on the bus have been injured. Most of the passengers travelling in the bus were Nepalis, said Rajesh Chhawada to RSS on telephone quoting Indian Police Officer DC Tiwari.[break]



Of the injured, condition of 55-year-old Dhan Kumari Dangi is critical.



According to Chhawada, the local Indian administration has provided Rs. 500 to the people suffering minor injuries in the accident, Rs. 5,000 each to the families of the injured and Rs. 10,000 each to families of the deceased, it is learnt.
