The meeting held at the NC´s central office in Sanepa began discussions on party´s organizational structures, future course of action, ongoing activities of the organization, according to NTD General Secretary Udaya Shumsher Rana.
Rana said they are yet to merge NTD in various 19 districts in the aftermath of the merger between Nepali Congress and Nepali Congress (Democratic) some two years ago.
“We have also begun discussion about the merger,” he said. “The merger process will be done either from the center or from the respective district after the meeting.”
The NTD plans to hold its convention soon.
