Nepal bags tourism award

KATHMANDU, June 7: Nepal bagged the Best Tourism Promotion Award at the Korea Travel Fair (KOTFA) held in Seoul from June 4-7.



Nepal´s participation in the fair was led by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), along with companies like Aerolina Tours and Travel, Stairway to Heaven Treks and Expedition and Gokarna Golf Forest Resort.



During the fair, around 10,000 people visited Nepal´s stall. Bimal Kandel, assistant manager of the NTB, made presentations on Nepal´s tourist spots at the stall.



With direct flight by Korean Air and other transit connections like Thai Airways, Silk Air and Dragon Air, Nepal receives around 20,000 South Korean tourists every year.
