Addressing a greetings-exchange programme organized by the Nepali Congress Bhaktapur District Committee on Saturday, leader Shrestha said the candidacy of the prime ministerial post for Nepali Congress has turned a rogue matter.[break]
"Government can bring budget, we agree to pass it," he said.
Another central member Arjun Narsing KC seconded Shrestha´s view that the election to the prime minister has put the Nepali Congress in such condition which it can neither escape from nor enjoy.
Candidate to the prime minister was continued for peace and agreement, he said, adding that Nepali Congress will not join UCPN-Maoist-led government, if made too, until the management of Maoist combatants and arms.
He accused the Maoist of wiping out democracy and imposing autocracy in the name of republic and people´s democracy.
Leader KC urged the party cadres not to enjoy groupism but to devote to the wellbeing of the entire party.
