KATHMANDU, Oct 2: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Chiranjibi Nepal recently felicitated Immediate Past Chairman of National Banking Institute (NBI) Sashin Kumar Joshi. Joshi is the incumbent CEO of Nabil Bank Ltd.
According to a presss release issued by Nabil Bank, Joshi was honored for his contribution and leadership role for the establishment and development of NBI. NBI is a banking institute established under the aegis of Nepal Banker's Association and Nepal Rastra Bank with support from Asian Development Bank.

According to the release, Governor Nepal expressed his satisfaction with the performance of the institute and appreciated the bigger role played by NBI for the development of banking industry.
"He also asked banks' CEOs to take training and development investment seriously and support NBI's initiative as it is the responsibility of the banking industry to create competent human capital for the achievement of financial stability," the release added.
