Talking to journalists at Biratnagar Airport, Bhattarai said national consensus government should be formed either by replacing the current government or by giving it the shape of national unity government.[break]
He said the Maoist proposed for term extension of the Constituent Assembly (CA) to take the peace process to a logical end and draft the constitution.
Vice Chairman Bhattarai warned that the unilateral stance taken by the Nepali Congress and some Madhesh-based political parties would invite political confrontation.
Bhattarai said the PLA will be integrated into the Nepal Army after drafting the new national security policy.
