NA defuses socket in Inaruwa

ITAHARI, Nov 5: A socket bomb (improvised explosive device) found at the entrance gate of the Inaruwa-based office of Construction Entrepreneurs´ Association was defused on Tuesday.



A bomb disposal team of the Nepal Army defused the bomb and no harm was caused by it, said chief of district police office Ganesh Bahadur Thapa. [break]



Police suspect that the bomb was planted aimed at threatening the locals on the eve of the Constituent Assembly (CA) election.



No one has so far taken responsibility of planting the bomb.
