MRPF (D) applies for recognition in parliament

KATHMANDU, Aug 4: Madhesi People’s Right Forum (Democratic) has applied for the recognition as a parliamentary party in the legislature parliament on Tuesday.



President Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar submitted the application to Speaker Subas Nembang with signatures of 28 parliamentarians.



“The application has been received, now the parliament will proceed on it,” Nembang told myrepublica.com.



After recognition, MRPF (D) will became the fourth largest party after UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and CPN-UML. MPRF, led by Upendra Yadav, will be fifth largest with 25 parliamentarians.
