BIRGUNJ: Central Committee meeting of the ruling Madhesi People´s Rights Forum (MPRF) was prolonged Tuesday as party spokesman Jaya Prakash Prasad Gupta tabled a separate political paper.

Gupta revealed during a reception hosted by party´s lawmaker Karima Begam at her residence on the occasion of Bakr Eid that he has called for collective leadership, internal democracy and inclusiveness in the party.

Gupta told reporters that he has urged the party central committee not to set a date for party´s national convention and cancel the date announced for the convention.

He also revealed that the meeting has asked party leader and Physical Planning and Works Minister Bijay Gachchhadar to merge his different paper with party chairman Upendra Yadav´s paper and present a common paper at the meeting. Gupta also said the party leaders have been evaluating performance of the government.

Yadav, however, said there was a separate paper presented at the meeting but difference was not that serious.
