Morang Auto to conduct Ridetech Challenge

KATHMANDU, May 20: Morang Auto Works (Yamaha distributor in Nepal) will conduct ´Yamaha Ridetech Challenge 2010´ -- the ultimate test for riding and safety skills -- on May 22 at National Trading Center from 6 am to 6 pm. The event is the first of its kind in Nepal.



The main objective of the event is to impart riding and safety. [break]



Fahad Khan, an international racer from India will also attend the event and give safety tips to participants of the race. The event will also feature DJ sessions and stunt shows. “Yamaha is the safest bike on track. We need to understand that modifications are not necessary in Yamaha bikes,” said Khan at a press meet.



The event is open to all R15 and FZ riders above 18 years with a valid driving license.



The participants will showcase their skills in the circuit with 3 laps. The winners from each category will be awarded with an all-expense-paid trip to Chennai Racing Championship while the first and second runners-up in each category will bag a cash prize of Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.



Morang Auto Works is also planning to open Safety Riding School in order to impart riding skills to bike riders.
