Nepal's COVID-19 death toll reaches 30

KATHMANDU, July 1: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) reported one more COVID-19 death on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, July 1: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) reported one more COVID-19 death on Wednesday.



A 45-year-old man from Ramaroshan Rural Municipality of Accham succumbed to COVID-19 infection on June 28, according to MoHP spokesperson Jageshwar Gautam.

He was admitted to Byalpata Hospital after having breathing difficulties on June 27. He was diabetes patient. 


The throat swab specimen of the deceased was collected and sent for COVID-19 test. The throat swab of the deceased came out positive for the COVID-19, according to Gautam. 


With this, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 30.
