The meeting at the residence of chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal condemned the Prime Minister’s expression on the abduction.
Dr Shrestha, the executive director of Bharatpur Cancer Hospital, was released on Saturday after 19 days of captivity. After release, Dr Shrestha said that he was abducted by a never-heard-before political party.
There were news reports that said Maoists were involved in the abduction.
The party also informed that it would ‘make public the conspiracy’.
The meeting also expressed concern over Nepal Army’s new recruitment process saying that it is against the Comprehensive Peace Accord.
