Speaking at a press conference organized by Press Chautari here in the district this morning, leader Pokharel urged the president to safeguard the constitution, alleging that UCPN (Maoist) has been conspiring against it.[break]
“PM Bhattarai is emerging as a new Janga Bahadur by imposing an authoritarian rule on the country,” said Pokharel, adding, “President must act immediately and should begin the process of appointing a new PM.”
On the occasion, Leader Pokharel also accused the incumbent government of working under the influences of foreign forces. He also accused the ministers of the Bhattarai-led cabinet of promoting corruption in the country.
