Chhabi Lal Budha, 24, of Bijayaswari-9, was arrested by police for hacking his 19-year-old wife Balika Gharti, 22 days after she had given birth to a child. He has reportedly hacked his wife to death with a sharp domestic weapon, according to Area Police Office, Chaurjahari.Gharti, who suffered a severed tongue and serious injuries to different parts of the body, died on the way to hospital. The heinous act took place on July 6.
Meanwhile, Chhabi Lal had escaped following the incident but was arrested after three days by police following a tip-off by the locals. RSS
